About The Position

The Heavy Lifter / Material Handler is responsible for safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials, parts, and equipment within a production or industrial environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are handled efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift (often 50+ lbs)
• Previous industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, load, and unload heavy materials, parts, and products throughout the facility
• Move materials between workstations, production areas, and storage locations
• Assist with loading and unloading racks, carts, or fixtures used in production processes
• Support production and finishing operations as needed
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues to supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging of finished products
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
