Heavy Lifter - Food Production
About The Position
Operator must be able to work in a cold environment (-32 - -34F) throughout a 10-hour shift, standing is required for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area. The Operator must have the physical ability to lift and ca r ry 29 – 49-pound sticks of franks safety, continuously and independently throughout the 10-hour shift , raise and lower objects from one level to another, they will walk a considerable distance over the course of the workday , will be exposed to constant loud noise. The pace in this department is rapid pace for long periods of time. The Operator must be able to demonstrate set up and tear down of machines and perform minor repairs, convey, and exchange information, take directions. Some Saturdays and Sundays may be required.
Requirements
- HSD/GED are required
- previous food industry, production and/or manufacturing are preferred, with at least 1 year experience
