About The Position

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent for a long-term career opportunity in South Plainfield, NJ. The Project Superintendent will be responsible for the coordination and construction of projects in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner. This role requires maintaining continuity on the project with Crisdel employees and subcontractors while fostering positive relationships with owners, agencies, and their representatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Heavy Highway/Civil Construction.
• Technical skills in asphalt paving, milling/paving, and compaction operations.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and plans.
• Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
• Effective leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license issued in the United States with a clean record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Willingness to work nighttime hours or other off-hours shifts as required.
• Knowledge of job safety requirements and ability to enforce safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction projects to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to Crisdel's Safety Program & Guidelines and all relevant regulations.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
• Communicate effectively with all individuals involved in the project.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet project goals.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contractual documents.
• Schedule project workflow with in-house crews and subcontractors.
• Schedule material deliveries for the project.
• Perform routine safety and quality control checks and enforce compliance.
• Utilize basic computer software applications for project management.
