About The Position
Hawkeye Paving Corporation is seeking a Heavy Highway Construction Foreman to join our dedicated team. This permanent position requires a minimum of four years of experience in concrete finishing, grading, and plan reading. The foreman will be responsible for overseeing and directing a crew in the installation of concrete streets, sewer lines, manholes, catch basins, and other related tasks. The role involves maintaining a log book, keeping track of time, and executing the daily work schedule based on the plans provided. The foreman must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, as the job will take place at construction sites throughout the Iowa Quad Cities area. An insurable driver's license is preferred, as it may be necessary for transportation to different job sites.
