About The Position

As a Heavy Haul Driver for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will cover all loads, inbound and outbound. Primary Responsibilities: Safely load and unload equipment onto assigned vehicles or trailers. Transport to and from contracted vendors for tanks and enclosures. Transport to and from tank paint shop. Transport to and from CAT factor work in progress Gensets. Maintain safe driving record and follow all safety guidelines for operating and loading equipment including the use of proper PPE at all times. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner Complete a Driver’s Safety Course. Additional duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid, active CDL license. Class A preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation, general professional freight carrier, or heavy-duty trucking (e.g., wrecker, mobile crane).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including but not limited to: Road Test administered by Yancey personnel. Background check and MVR with less than 10 points. DOT Physical Drug Screen
• Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR § 383.5 or 49 CFR § 383.51.
• Ability to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tablets.
• Customer service oriented with the willingness to go above and beyond expectations with a rock star attitude.
