About The Position

NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. Through mergers and acquisitions, NED, LLC. has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships, including Four Seasons Equipment, MAY-RHI, Earthmovers Construction Equipment, Richardson Service 1991, Inc., Grove River Machinery, and L & N Supply Company Inc. Today the company is re-branded under one unified name, NED – National Equipment Dealers.

Requirements

  • Previous industry experience is desired.
  • Customer oriented.
  • MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Attention to detail.
  • General understanding of inventory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and customer service skills to build and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to the equipment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct management of the Parts and Service departments within the state of South Carolina.
  • Daily admin roles key to the daily operations of the branches.
  • Put customer satisfaction at the forefront of daily duties while maximizing return through direct parts sales.
  • Inventory control and streamline current processes.
  • Motivate and engage department personnel.
  • Oversee daily functions of Parts and Service Departments.
  • Direct employees to maximize resources.
  • Maintain branches parts inventory at adequate levels to meet customer and internal needs.
  • Review inventory levels quarterly and submit for manufacturer parts returns.
  • Review non-moving parts for reductions specials or targeted write-offs.
  • Maintain the condition of the parts warehouse and direct employees on daily organization.
  • Direct department interview and hiring process.
  • Hold annual reviews for employees with management recommendations on advancement.
  • Approve employee time-off requests.
  • Ensure all employees are adequately trained in their position to meet department needs.
  • Work with service department management to expedite necessary back-ordered items.
  • Review open backorders and sales orders for processing.
  • Prepare and lead annual parts inventory.
  • Assist with preparing, closing, and billing work orders with branches Service Manager.
  • Manage branches supplies and process PO’s.
  • Aid and assist with recruiting technicians.
