About The Position

Drives a class "A" CDL truck/trailer combination while transporting various sizes and types of heavy equipment throughout Arkansas.

Requirements

• High school education is required.
• A minimum of two years heavy equipment transport experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports heavy construction equipment to include oversized permitted loads
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to maneuver, load and unload construction equipment on heavy equipment trailers.
• Maintains a current medical certification
• Conducts daily preventative maintenance checks on truck and trailer units
• Demonstrate proper chain securement procedures
• Knowledge of overweight and over-dimensional load restrictions
• Read and understand oversized load permits
• Knowledge and ability to navigate the area of central Arkansas to complete delivery requirements
• Conduct electronic log device (ELD) entries tracking hours of service requirements
• Communicate with heavy equipment manager via truck computer email system
