About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Service Manager to oversee all activities within our Maintenance Shop. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of our fleet of heavy equipment. The position is based in Greensboro, NC and requires minimal travel. Our facility includes full hydraulic and welding/fabrication shops, supporting a wide range of equipment and specialized hydraulic attachments.

Requirements

• Experience in heavy equipment maintenance shop management (5-years minimum preferred).
• Superior knowledge of hydraulic attachments and hydraulic systems.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HCSS Equipment360 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the heavy equipment maintenance shop.
• Lead and supervise shop personnel, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repair schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
• Ensure equipment reliability through proactive maintenance planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate service records and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Collaborate with field teams to prioritize equipment needs and minimize downtime.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
