Job Description: This individual will be responsible for repair on a variety of construction related equipment. This role is Day time shift typically working 6:30AM - 3:30PM, with occasional overtime as required.

Requirements

• Two year technical degree in diesel technology, heavy equipment mechanics, small engine repair, or similar preferred
• 5+ years’ experience preferred
• Use hand tools, air tools, test equipment, powered shop tools, and overhead crane.
• Operation of a variety of types of equipment
• Diagnosis and repair of diesel engines
• Maintenance, diagnosis and repair of equipment electrical systems
• Hydraulic troubleshooting
• Use of hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment.

• Crane knowledge a plus
• Ability to properly document work completed

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and repair transmissions, engines, differentials, electrical and hydraulic components associated with heavy construction equipment in a shop environment.
• Utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes for the safe assembly and disassembly of components.
• Repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems.
• Write and complete service reports.
• Participate in company training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
