Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
Welding experience required
Ability to travel within assigned territory for field service
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems)
Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
Stay up to date on industry and technical advancements
Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
Perform other duties as assigned
