About The Position

Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Heavy Equipment Road Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you'll travel daily to customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer machinery and components, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and on time. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, production bonuses, and excellent benefits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding experience required
• Ability to travel daily within an assigned territory
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and ability to multi-task effectively

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Perform other duties as assigned
