About The Position

We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a 9-month heavy civil/mining project in Northern Nevada operating on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule. This position is best suited for local operators based in Winnemucca or nearby, or candidates willing to self-arrange accommodations and take advantage of daily transportation to site. The project duration is approximately 9 months with a schedule of 5 days on / 2 days off and shift lengths of 10–12 hours per day. Daily transportation is provided from Winnemucca to site, but accommodations are not provided; candidates must live locally or secure their own housing in or near Winnemucca. Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects over the past 40+ years and has a growing workforce of more than 1000 skilled professionals. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy civil environments
• MSHA Part 48 (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work a weekday-style schedule for the duration of the project

Nice To Haves

• Experience with haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including Dozers (D6–D10), Excavators (20T–90T), Rock Trucks (40T–100T), and Graders (14M–16M)
• Perform heavy civil/mining project tasks, potentially involving haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks
