Job Details: Arch Materials – Batavia, OH Full-Time Night Shift Wages starting at $25/hr . for entry level candidates. This pay rate includes a $23.00/ per hour base rate and a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Overall compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience level and skill set. Arch Materials is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking a night shift Heavy Equipment Operator for our operation located in Batavia, OH . The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, haul truck, and general work around the quarry operation. Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Individual must be dedicated to operating safely at all times
• Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry
• Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment
• Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary
• Team player attitude
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities
