About The Position

Branch Civil is searching for skilled, reliable, and experienced heavy equipment operators to join our well-established, growing company. We have a variety of field positions in the Hampton Roads, VA, area. We are specifically looking for: Bulldozer Operators, Excavator Operators, etc. The positions will perform a variety of tasks in heavy/highway construction projects. APPLY TODAY! Requirements

Positive attitude and work ethic
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Basic computer skills with iPad and MS office experience
CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days
2-3 years operator experience

Nice To Haves

DOT experience preferred

Responsibilities

Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor
Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
Follow all health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, and plate compactor.
Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations
Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude
