Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable climbing vertical ladders.
  • Ability to read or learn to read instructions on a tablet.
  • Follows directions reliably.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with precast concrete products and handling procedures (a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow proper stripping and lifting procedures.
  • Perform thorough operational checks to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Operate heavy motorized equipment to accurately place and remove various materials.
  • Load and offload rock, sand, and other materials to and from bins and heavy equipment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading precast concrete pieces using appropriate equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding work progress and any issues.
  • Understand that all injuries, even if minor, shall be reported to management/supervisor on shift.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including consistently wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating procedures.
  • This is a full-time position that may vary outside the normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on the area you work in, the shift may require working in the early morning or at night and sometimes overtime, or weekend shifts to meet production needs.
