Key Job Duties: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. Manage the transloading of cargoes and commodities securely. Report any unsafe operations or behaviors to the production manager. Conduct pre-job inspections and regular maintenance of equipment. Operate equipment under varying conditions, adjusting controls as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety standards and company policies. Work independently, following instructions and completing tasks with minimal supervision. Carry out additional tasks as directed by management to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Teamwork skills and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

- Experience in stevedoring is advantageous.
