About The Position
We’re hiring a hands-on Heavy Equipment Operator to support a limestone mining operation in Crawford, TX. If you can run equipment, stay production-focused, and jump in where needed, this is a solid, long-term opportunity in a high-demand industry.
Requirements
- Experience operating equipment in quarry, mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong focus on safety + production
- Willingness to work outdoors (heat, dust, noise)
- Comfortable with physical work (50–65 lbs) and manual labor
- Team player with solid communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–3+ years experience (mining/aggregates preferred)
- Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass ATF background check (blasting support)
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment: loaders, haul trucks, dozers, water trucks, skid steers, drills
- Support crusher operations + rock breaker
- Perform pre-shift inspections and keep equipment running safely
- Handle material movement, loading, and plant cleanup
- Assist with quarry blasting operations (ATF background required)
- Track production data, weights, and daily logs
- Perform basic maintenance (grease, fluids, inspections)
