About The Position

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for our Excavation Division. This role involves operating a variety of construction equipment to excavate, move, grade, and load earth and materials as directed by the Foreman or Project Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including dump trucks, bulldozers, front-end loaders, graders, tracked excavators, and water trucks.
• Follow all safety regulations and take actions to prevent hazards or obstructions.
• Locate underground services such as pipes or wires before starting work.
• Monitor operations to ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Adjust machine controls and operate attachments such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and booms.
• Coordinate with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and other materials.
• Check fuel supplies at job sites to ensure adequate availability.
• Maneuver equipment to remove topsoil, vegetation, or rocks and distribute/level earth.
