This position is a key part of their mulch manufacture/sales and snow removal team, focusing on the safe and effective operation of heavy equipment, such as wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, trucks, and forklifts, to transport and effectively manage volumes of mulch and snow.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have a minimum of one year’s experience operating a wheel loader or similar
  • Must have valid state issued driver's license
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Willing to always observe safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly
  • Is consistently at work and on time
  • Dependable and able to commit to long hours of work when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with snow removal and/or mulch/soil manufacture
  • Willing to work overtime and in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Load end dump trailers with mulch or snow to be removed from site
  • Use wheel loader to manipulate and transport mulch and snow
  • Plow large empty parking lots with wheel loader
  • Always adhere to stringent safety standards
  • Other duties may be assigned.
