Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in operating loaders and dozers in a plant environment.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of equipment capabilities and specifications of different finished materials.
• Ability to recognize various products by sight and understand proper plant operation.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations and hazard recognition skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation in accordance with OSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate mobile equipment loaders to load aggregates for processing and safely load customers' trucks.
• Monitor materials to maintain an adequate feed and stockpiles, visually inspecting for compliance with specifications.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily mobile equipment reports.
• Observe the plant and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments required.
• Clean yard and plant areas and participate in maintenance, repair, and general housekeeping activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
