About The Position
This dual-role position requires a hands-on leader who can operate heavy machinery while supervising and coordinating job site activities. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive equipment experience, and a commitment to safety and productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
- 2+ years of foreman or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- OSHA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as Pulverizers and Specialty Spreaders
- Lead and supervise crew members on-site to ensure project goals are met
- Plan daily work activities and delegate tasks effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
- Monitor job progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
