It is crucial to have the skills necessary to work as a valued team member for F&B to provide the type of service our customers have come to expect. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily. The below descriptions represent, but do not limit, the duties expected of this position.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with earthwork and civil construction
- Willingness to learn and follow all safety policies and requirements
- This position requires climbing, kneeling, bending and crawling often as well as the ability to work on ladders, platforms and mechanical lifts
- Must be able to understand English
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, loader) in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
- Efficiently be able to operate machines for earth moving, pipe installation & grading operations
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
