RiverStone Group Inc. has a full-time position available for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our Midway Stone Quarry in Hillsdale, IL. Candidates must be dependable and available for overtime as needed. A typical work schedule for this position would be Monday – Friday, 5am to 1pm, though some variation to this should be expected depending on the needs of the location.

Requirements

Safety-Focused
Strong mechanical aptitude
Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.
Continued random drug screens expected throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

Vo-Tech Diesel Mechanic graduate preferred
experience welding and operating heavy equipment

Responsibilities

Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
Maintain and repair all equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment may include front-end loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, etc.
Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and repair needs, including proper documentation of such needs
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
