About The Position

Service Technician: Highly skilled and driven mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment. Experience in diesel knowledge along with troubleshooting, repair and diagnostics on all types of equipment including skid loaders, excavators and medium to heavy duty equipment. Employee must have strong work ethic and manage multiple repairs at once. Must have general working knowledge of machine operation and specific techniques and operations. Specialized skills in engine rebuild and/or welding a plus.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record, preferred CDL and forklift certification
Own proper tools (attached list)
Knowledge of hydraulics, hydrostat, engines, electrical, fuel systems, and/or charging systems
Willingness to learn
Strong oral and written communication skills
Exhibit a cheerful presence and teamwork skills
Must pass background check at time of hire

Specialized skills in engine rebuild and/or welding a plus

Responsibilities

Demonstrate high degree of proficiency and accuracy with repairs
Fill out accurate work orders and all other paperwork that applies
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Manage multiple repairs at once
Strive to grow in mechanical areas of machine repair
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing a safe work environment and take an active role in maintaining a safe work environment
Work with team members to ensure high quality work
Work in team environment with a positive attitude
Must follow handbook regarding dress code for the service department
Must be flexible and highly organized with the ability to work independently
Must be honest, respectful and trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics
Involves the operation of heavy equipment, including: Excavators Loaders Dozers Paving Graders Forklifts
