Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a similar industry preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow.
  • Tools: Ownership of basic hand tools and a toolbox to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication skills-a must for working efficiently and positively with others
  • Organizational skills to keep your area and tasks on track.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and a keen willingness to learn more.
  • Ability to operate and move various types of equipment (we'll train you as you grow with us!)
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
  • Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50lbs as needed.
  • Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time, ready to work, and equipped with the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace safety always comes first!
  • Collaborate with team members and interact professionally with all staff.
  • Ensure tools are accessible, organized, and in working order.
  • Service and repair trucks and heavy equipment including fueling, lubricating, greasing, and replacing filters.
  • Troubleshoot and perform general repairs on a variety of machines.
  • Pick up parts and supplies from local vendors and assist field mechanics as needed.
