About The Position

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an A Level Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet of Heavy Equipment. The position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management
