About The Position

We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Rogers Group is currently seeking a full-time, day shift Lube/Oil Technician for our Central AR quarries located in Greenbrier, Cabot and El Paso AR. This position will report directly to the Quarry manager. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and have knowledge of heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Dedication to safe work practices
• Previous maintenance experience
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform repairs if needed
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed
• Must be able to work outside in a variety of conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
• Must be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must have DOT, medical card.
• Computer skills is a must

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of operating heavy equipment is a plus
• Must be dependable
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.

Responsibilities

• Oil changes and pm’s on all quarry mobile equipment on site
• Complete maintenance records on computer
• Properly follow all company policies and MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
