About The Position

Seeking a technician to perform lubrication and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, not limited to; backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, trenchers, rollers, scrapers, forklifts, haul trucks, water trucks and dump trucks to assure safe operation. Must have Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat Endorsement and medical card. Must pass pre employment drug screen and background check. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of the operation of various types of heavy construction equipment.
• Knowledge of oils and lubricants with the ability to make mechanical repairs as necessary.
• Ability to operate equipment to check for proper operation after service has been made.
• Maintain lubrication and oil sample records.
• Must be able to read and understand safety and quality standards.
• Effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel.

• Inspect subordinates work, ensure accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications, explain deficiencies and take any necessary corrective action.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
