About The Position

The Lube Technician (Heavy Equipment) is responsible for fueling, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment. This position involves performing daily service on various jobsites, which includes lubricating heavy construction equipment, checking fluid levels, changing fluids, and greasing. The role requires prior experience working on heavy equipment, including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of diesel and gas engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The technician must possess problem-solving skills essential for the diagnostics and repair of heavy construction and support equipment.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in repair/service of heavy civil construction equipment.
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to climb ladders and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Familiarity with tools and procedures necessary for diagnosis and repair of heavy construction equipment and trucks.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to process information quickly and accurately.
• Takes initiative and prioritizes tasks with organizational, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily service on various jobsites to include lubricating heavy construction equipment.
• Check fluid levels, change fluids, and grease equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of heavy equipment and support equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.
• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with HAZMAT and tanker endorsement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
