Requirements

  • A technical school certificate or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of heavy equipment technician experience.
  • Strong understanding of equipment operations and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various issues.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of your work.
  • Comfortable with data entry and basic computer skills, including navigation and internet usage.
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. A CDL may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex repairs and diagnostic tests on heavy equipment at customer locations, ensuring their machines are back up and running in top shape.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by explaining issues and solutions clearly, and occasionally promoting dealer service programs, while keeping all necessary documentation up to date.
  • Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and inventory, keeping them in excellent condition so you're always prepared for any job.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure everything is done correctly.
