About The Position

Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment at customer sites. You'll work independently in the field, delivering safe, professional, and on-time repairs while providing clear communication to customers and the Service team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Prior hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (insurable by company carrier)
Ability to travel daily to customer locations
Positive attitude: ability to multitask and work efficiently

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (field-based)
Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
Recommend repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK a plus)
Perform welding/fabrication as needed
Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
Stay current with industry and technical advancements
Communicate with factory/OEM for technical support
Perform other duties as assigned
