Amerit Fleet is seeking an Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic, , Class A to join our team in the Brooksville, FL area. If you have at least two years of p roven Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Class A experience we want to hear from you! Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-3:00pm - 50 hours a week Compensation : $40-$48/hour depending on experience and certifications Company Car: Includes use of a company truck to drive to and from the site - including fuel card The benefits of belonging – what’s in it for you? Requirements

Experience working on John Deere, CAT and Komatsu equipment required
Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
Valid Driver’s License and pass drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

Technical education in a related discipline with experience, or on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components and systems summarized above is preferred.

Responsibilities

Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic, will perform PMs and Repairs on all types of powered equipment
Be familiar with all major components and functions to include power unit, drive train, suspension, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
Perform diagnostics and repairs on equipment involving the summary of components and systems stated above
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas
