The Heavy Equipment Operator (Hazmat Low) reports directly to the Shift Lead and is responsible for inspecting and operating all types of Heavy Equipment Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in support of A/DACG operations, including the transportation of HAZMAT loads. The operator must have a working knowledge of container operations, including container lifting systems. Responsibilities include loading and unloading pallets, supplies, and equipment from docks, trucks, KLoaders, and other conveyances. The operator enforces safety practices and documents all procedures while complying with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and workplace rules.
