WHAT YOU WILL DO: Clean and sanitizes Kitchen, Bar and Corner Shoppe areas and other kitchen areas, sweep, and mop all food & beverage areas, clean and maintain kitchen hoods, filters, grease traps and all the stainless steel. Keeps Bingo building clean and sanitized; includes restrooms, bingo floor, VGD game rooms, parking lots, breakrooms, and other work areas in accordance with departments SOPs. Gathers and empties all trash and washes out trash cans as needed. Pressure washes all food & beverage area floor mats. Clean bingo floor, wash tables, tape & bag, and clean ashtrays. Clean all building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, shampooing, steam-cleaning, and vacuuming. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Removes snow from sidewalks using snow shovels and spread ice melting chemical as needed. Strips, waxes, and polishes floors as needed. Notifies manager concerning the need for repairs to building or equipment. Maintain garden shed, supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks. Assist with the set up and tear-down, arrange, and/or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings. Collect soiled laundry articles from designated MIB locations and then load articles, start washers and driers to regulate machine processes to clean laundry. Once the cycle is complete, fold, sort and restock articles. Handles and disposes of Sharps Container and other bio-hazardous materials. Clean indoor windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures as needed. Maintain the facilities grounds to provide a clean, safe, and serviceable environment for both customers and employees. Dusts furniture, walls, machines, ceiling vents and equipment. Maintains the cleanliness of all equipment in the facility in a manner that ensures it’s ready for use daily. Operates extractor equipment, pressure washer, floor scrubbers and shampoo machines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year experience with floor maintenance equipment and various cleaning chemicals preferred.
• Basic knowledge of various restaurant, kitchen and bar cleaning processes preferred.
