About The Position
Broome Service Center is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Wrecker Operators to join our team in Jackson, SC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $15 to $30 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and applicable education. As a Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty tow trucks to assist with vehicle recovery and transport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and customer service, ensuring that all interactions with clients are professional and courteous. In this role, you will be required to operate standard and manual transmission vehicles, maintain a clean driving record, and adhere to a rotating schedule to provide after-hours services. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively without direct supervision. Excellent attendance and the ability to interact well with coworkers and customers are essential for success in this position. Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class-A license with no restrictions, and experience with flatbed and refrigerated trailers is preferred. A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a current Medical Card are also required.
