The Heavy-Duty Truck Driver supplies solutions on transportation by prioritizing tasks and working with the shipping department on the move of HRC and Pipe from the port or other yards to BMP and vice-versa. Ensures all activities are safely performed putting HSE as a top priority. Monitors condition and appearance of Heavy-Duty Trucks and reports to Management deficiencies and Process Gaps to establish new solutions or any repairs as needed. Suggest new ideas to improve HSE and transportation efficiencies, equipment, and property assets. Performs inspections in a timely manner and creates reports to bring visibility to company KPIs. Maintains good housekeeping practices on Heavy-Duty Trucks and promotes a great Teamwork environment, following all Company po Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; fast-paced environment, hot when the weather is hot, and cold when the weather is cold. Greasy, dirty, and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and products up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but is not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hard hats.
