About The Position

Tidewater Fleet Supply / TNT Parts is one of the largest independent distributors of fleet, truck, trailer, and heavy equipment parts in the Southeast. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to help us expand our reach and strengthen relationships in the market. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines — meeting with customers, identifying their needs, and providing the Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Parts solutions they rely on to keep their operations moving. If you’re a self-starter who enjoys building relationships and delivering results, we’d love to have you on our team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years sales experience, including new account development, prospecting, and cold calling; or the equivalent of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Appropriate manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Tidewater Fleet Supply/TNT Parts Inc. Technology products including Webshop.
• Prospect for new accounts/referrals which include compiling and updating a list of prospective clients to provide leads for additional business.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies.
• Service existing accounts and communicate with clients on a regular basis. Discuss use and features of various parts.
• Manage Accounts in the CRM system.
• Update account profiles in CRM annually for contact info and sales potential.
• Pre Call Plan each Sales call using CRM 'Sales IQ' guided action.
• Follow up on orders to ensure that customers are served promptly.
• Coordinate parts and with the appropriate personnel. Advise counter person on delivery instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
