About The Position
**Job Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at All Star Heavy Haul & Towing in Tracy, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and possess a valid commercial driver's license with a clean record. This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to lift, pull, and maneuver heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for towing and transporting vehicles to and from our facility, and will be expected to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. **Duties:** The Tow Truck Operator will operate a tow truck and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles onto and from the tow truck, conducting basic automotive repairs such as changing tires and jump-starting batteries, and performing routine maintenance checks on the tow truck and other equipment. The operator will utilize their mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair any issues with the tow truck or other equipment, transport vehicles to and from our facility ensuring they are properly secured and transported safely, and manage conflicts while interacting effectively with customers in a professional manner. Additionally, the operator will be required to operate a forklift as needed and participate in an on-call rotation to respond promptly to emergency calls.
