About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Technician performs skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of Vehicles, Heavy duty equipment, and related construction equipment with gasoline and diesel-powered engines at the shop or on mobile road calls. This equipment includes military vehicles, excavators, dozers, skid steers, tractors, and road graders. The purpose for this position is to minimize downtime by accurately diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the field. This individual must have experience with hydraulics, electrical, ignition, and drive train systems.
