About The Position

Responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of heavy machinery equipment and fleet vehicles (tractor/trailer). Must be capable of performing full engine rebuilds and supporting operational leadership with limited foreman responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy-duty equipment and fleet vehicles (tractor/trailer).
• Perform full engine rebuilds and major component repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• Maintain equipment according to DOT and manufacturer standards.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs accurately and timely.
• Test heavy machinery and trucks to diagnose malfunctions and confirm proper operation.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide guidance, training, and limited supervision to mechanics or helpers as needed.
• Assist foremen and operations in planning and prioritizing maintenance schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
