Kenworth South Florida in Ft. Lauderdale is hiring experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics/Technicians. Join a team that values a strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and repairs completing correctly the first time. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required. Prior Kenworth experience is a plus. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Diesel technician experience (Kenworth preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Kenworth trucks as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
- Maintain accurate and detailed repair records
- Communicate with the factory for technical support
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technical advancements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
