The Manufacturing Technician will be called upon to lead and train operations assembly team in the proper use of any of these systems during build process and final inspections. The Service Technician must develop effective communications and must have a positive working relationship with all team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five or more years of mechanical experience in automotive or machinery applications
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience

Nice To Haves

  • Ten or more years of mechanical experience
  • Experience with basic hand tools
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards
  • Electrical system programming knowledge
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Hydraulic system knowledge
  • Experience viewing 3D models
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Diagnose and repair low-voltage controls
  • Strong electrical aptitude
  • Troubleshooting 12/24-volt systems
  • Written troubleshooting documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Build new products
  • Provide design and process feedback during projects
  • Assist in development of long-term manufacturing build processes
  • Provide training and demonstrations
  • Troubleshoot (diagnose and repair) products
  • Perform first-time installation of detail parts
  • Conduct functional testing of all systems
  • Modify bodywork layouts
  • Work independently to follow build schedules
  • Maintain safety awareness around high voltage and high-pressure systems
  • Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts
  • Conduct coolant line pressure testing
  • Diagnose and rework high-voltage systems
