Pay You Can Count On Average mechanic pay: $37/hour Top producers average $52+ per hour Guaranteed 40 hours every week Full-time | 5 days per week | Weekends required Paid EVERY Friday Requirements Why Experienced Techs Choose Kenly 95 $150 annual boot allowance $500 annual tool allowance Company-provided shirts, coats, and uniforms — cleaned and maintained weekly at no cost to you ASE certification fees paid 100% by the company $250 bonus + commission increase for EACH ASE earned Additional $500 bonus for Master ASE Certification Meal, merchandise, and fuel discounts Excellent medical, dental, disability, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts Paid vacation Profit sharing Tuition reimbursement / education assistance up to $1,500 per year What You’ll Be Doing Service and repair all makes of Class 8 semi-trucks and trailers Perform thorough vehicle inspections and clearly document needed repairs Complete repairs accurately, safely, and efficiently Inspect completed work to ensure top-quality results and customer satisfaction Communicate professionally with Service Writers and fellow technicians Follow all company safety policies and work as part of a skilled, team-driven shop What We’re Looking For Verifiable experience working on diesel trucks or heavy-duty equipment (required) Ability to diagnose and repair within our scope of service Ownership of tools necessary to perform repairs Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Team-oriented attitude and commitment to quality work Desire to continue learning and growing professionally Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation and Valid Driver's License Ability to pass background check, physical, and pre-employment & random drug testing Our Company has been family-owned and operated since 1964! This is an on-site position and not remote. Iowa 80 is unable to sponsor a Visa. Salary Description Starting Pay $22/Hour
Requirements
- Verifiable experience working on diesel trucks or heavy-duty equipment (required)
- Ability to diagnose and repair within our scope of service
- Ownership of tools necessary to perform repairs
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Team-oriented attitude and commitment to quality work
- Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
- Must be 18 years or older
