About The Position
TCI is looking for an experienced Level 4 Diesel Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities who can perform advanced diesel repairs and support junior technicians in the shop. As a Level 4 Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing complex mechanical issues, performing major component repairs, and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Requirements
- 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet insurability
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and aftertreatment systems (DPF/DEF)
- Experience using diagnostic software and scan tools
- Self-motivated & Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- CDL a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel trucks and equipment
- Repair and replace major components including engines, transmissions, and aftertreatment systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Mentor and support entry-level and mid-level technicians
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets safety standards
