About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for performing a variety of deep cleaning functions in the kitchens. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to) Performs daily cleaning of all kitchen areas including hoods, kettle fryers, floors, mats, and other kitchen equipment as scheduled for preventive maintenance and cleaning. Adheres to safe practices and follows all safety and MSDS guidelines. Performs routine equipment inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order. Reports any broken, worn or faulty equipment to the Lead, Supervisor or Facilities personnel. Performs essential functions of the position in a safe and thorough manner. Assists and supports catering and special event functions as requested. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must also possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
  • Knowledgeable of kitchen work and equipment usage, or knowledge of cleaning methods preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
  • Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Must be able to work at heights such as on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Required to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to vibration, dust, gas, fumes, steam or chemicals.
  • Required to wear protective equipment such as mask, earplugs, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, etc.
  • Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
