About The Position
Maintain high standard of cleaniness in accordance with the procedures and policies set forth by the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the convention center. Responsible for cleaning all restrooms, floors, windows, walls, stairs, escalators, and elevators. Responsible for vacuuming all floors. Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms. Mopping floors around the bars, restrooms, corridor, and entrance. Responsible for removing all trash and debris from restrooms, floors, and trash cans. Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters. Ensure the safety and security of guest and team members. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum, carpet cleaner, buffer, ladder, sky jacks, auto scrubber, and shopvac.
- Ability to use chemicals for cleaning and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to read, follow instructions and understand visual aids.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Ability to walk 50% of the time, bend (from the waist) 35% of the time as well as stand, lift (overhead arms’ length up to 50lbs) and climb 5% of the time.
- Ability to answer calls promptly and maintain politeness and pay attention to the needs of guests.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in cleaning public buildings and/or facilities preferred.
