About The Position
The Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for cleaning of all food department back of the house areas and equipment to meet levels of sanitation in accordance with the health department.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Some computer knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and breaking down kitchen equipment (stoves, hoods, floors).
- Emptying the trash in all the kitchens replace ice from the salad bars.
- Clean drains, walls, and counters.
- Other duties as assigned.
