About The Position

The Heavy-Duty Cleaner is responsible for supporting the back of the house in many different roles. You will be assigned to one of our restaurants.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Must be able to walk, crawl, lift, lower, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds. Heavier items require assistance.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Required to deep clean under and around cooking/refrigeration appliances, behind storage areas.
• Clean drains, walls and counters.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all cooking equipment, floors and walls.
• Wash heavy pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
• Dust, sweep, and mop various kitchen areas when needed.
• Assure that restaurants are properly supplied with dishes, glasses and silverware.
• Emptying the trash in all kitchens.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
