About The Position

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Construction Laborer to join our expanding Tampa Team. Heavy construction laborers are responsible for performing various tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. These tasks may include, but are not limited to: shoveling, raking, hand sweeping, setting bracing, forming, rigging, tying, cutting, patching and cleaning. Heavy construction laborers may use and/or operate the following tools of the trade, including but not limited to: small hand or power tools, air tools, jack hammers, cement mixers, hand tampers, plate tampers and saws.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must have a valid driver's license that meets state requirements (CDL preferred, but not required).
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle records check, and criminal background check.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.
• Shovel, rake, hand sweep, set bracing, form, rig, tie, cut, patch, and clean as required.
• Use and operate small hand or power tools, air tools, jack hammers, cement mixers, hand tampers, plate tampers, and saws.
• Adhere to Crisdel's Safety Program & Guidelines and all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers and subcontractors.
• Report to work on time and follow designated break schedules.
