About The Position

This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy construction equipment, trucks and vehicles at a designated job site . Responsibilities Position may involve performing other duties as required, which may not be mentioned below. Specific duties may change from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance required
• Must have steel toe safety boots

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred
• Welding experience preferred
• HVAC Freon certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current OSHA 10 (or similar) construction safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical failings with on-site heavy equipment
• Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
• Rebuild major components such as transmissions and engines as needed
• Learn, follow, and promote all Charah safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
